Frequently Asked Questions
How does AI stock sentiment analysis work?
AIamond reads financial news from publishers' own feeds in English and German. Each article is read either by a Qwen model on our own hardware or by a cloud model (Anthropic Claude Haiku, OpenAI GPT-6 Luna) and gets a tone rating, the market it is about, and its drivers and risks. The ratings are averaged per market.
Does the news tone predict prices?
Not reliably, and we show it. We have checked more than 100,000 reports against the move that followed: the headline tone matched 35% of the time, and none of the 28 sources with at least 500 checks beat chance by 5 points. AIamond tells you what the news says, so you don't have to read it all. The full numbers are on our accuracy page.
Is stock sentiment analysis free?
Yes. The dashboard, the daily e-mail digest at 9 am your time, the source hit rates, the full news feed and the AI Trading: News Picture — the AI's read of where the news points — are all free.
What markets does AIamond cover?
DAX, S&P 500, Nasdaq, Euro Stoxx, Bitcoin and other coins, gold, silver, oil, EUR/USD and single stocks. Sources range from CNBC and the Financial Times to Handelsblatt and CoinDesk.
